Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. The Service is intended for parents and caregivers documenting a homeschool journey. You are responsible for everyone you invite to your household.

Keep your login credentials secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You own the photos, captions, notes, and records you create ("Your Content"). You grant Homeschoolfolio a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and the caregivers you invite.

You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to upload it, including photos of children in your care. We don't sell Your Content or use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to use, or that is unlawful or harmful.
• Attempt to access other households' data or disrupt the Service.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without permission.

Captions and subject suggestions are generated automatically and are meant to assist you. They may contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and editing records before relying on them for portfolio reviews, evaluations, or any official purpose.

Free accounts include a monthly allowance of records and a storage limit. You may purchase one-off bundles of additional records or storage. Purchases are processed by Stripe.

Bundles are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Purchased balances are made available to your household once payment is confirmed. Except where required by law, purchases are non-refundable.

You can stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that generated records are accurate or that the Service will meet the specific requirements of any school, evaluator, or authority. You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homeschoolfolio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
